9 Surface Burners IMPORT AN T : Do not obstruct the flow of combus tion and ventilat ion air around the bu rn er grate edges. Before cleaning, make sure all con trols are off an d the ove n and cooktop are cool. Do not use oven cleaners, bl each or rust re mo v e r s .
10 GRILLE The grille module consist s of a cast-iron grate, a wav e tray , a wave plate, a burn er assembly , a front spill guard and a drip tray . It is used to grill foods. Refer to the “ Grille Chart ” for cook times and sett ings. When usin g the grill e, follow th e guideli nes below.

Place drip tray on b ottom of grille b asin and slide th e tray forward so that it is locate d side to side and agai nst the locatin g feet of the rear spil l guard. 3. 12 GRIDDLE The griddle is a buil t-in unit made of p olis hed st eel and comes with a drip tray . It is sh ipped with a protectiv e coatin g covered with pape r to prevent ru st from occurr ing and must b e removed before using. See the “ General Cleani ng ” section for mor e information.
