Bluetooth is a wir eless pr otocol utilizing short-range communications technology facilitating data transmissions over short distances fr om fixed and/or mobile devices, cr eating wir eless personal ar ea networks (P ANs).
• When cleaning the exterior , switch off the unit and wipe it with a dr y cloth only . — A wet cloth may cause and electr onic shock. • Unplug the pr oduct when not using it for a long time. • Do not dr op or thr ow the unit. • Be car eful with sharp surfaces when attaching bracket.
Storing When the unit is not in use please consider the following steps. 1). When not using the headset, please stor e it in a dr y place and switch it off to save batter y power . 2). Do not place it in dir ect sunlight or extr emely hot temperatur es.
Rechar ging Headset - (continued) 2). Connect the headset to the char ger as described. Please make sur e that the char ger plug is inserted corr ectly into the headset. 3). The r ed LED is illuminated during the char ging pr ocess. When the headset is fully char ged, the r ed LED turns off.
Select mounting method based on helmet type. 1) Using Bracket A (for attaching to helmet)incl. 3M adhesive tape. Recommened to be placed on the left hand side 2) Using Bracket B (for attaching to the helmet) Please note: Not possible with ever y helmet type Please note: Equipment will var y due to helmet type.

Function Key/Action/LED Signal Normally , you can connect ever y Bluetooth cell phone to the headset. However , depending on the phone type, some functions cannot be operated thr ough the headset. This includes the automatic music r endering after a call, r edialing, or other functions.
Connecting the headset with cell phone. 1). Activate the Bluetooth function of you phone and start sear ching for other phones in our envir onment. If necessar y , make use of your mobile phone manual. Please make sur e that all other Bluetooth devices in your envir onment as well as all channels of other headsets ar e switched off.
Receiving a call while listening to music 1). While listening to music fr om your cell phone, you can r eceive calls at any time. 2). If you r eceive a call, the music will be muted and you will hear the ringing of the cell phone. Depending on your selection, the call will be accepted automatically or manually .
Operating and disconnecting the audio device 1). Y ou can adjust the volume of the audio device with the [+] & [-] keys of the headset. 2). Y ou can start and stop the music with the Mute key . 3). If the audio device is out of range fr om the headset, the connection will be interrupted.
V ox Function (continued) 4). When activating the VOX after is has turned off, a delay of 3 seconds is r equir ed befor e r esuming conversation. The activation of the VOX will pr ovide a sound in the headset. 5). Depending on the helmet type and motor cycle, ambient noises could activate the VOX at higher speeds (~60 MPH).
Cell phone and inter com 1). Please connect the phone to the headset on channel 1 as described. 2). Switch off channel 1 again and activate channel 2 as described. 3). Switch on both channels again. 4). Y ou can now listen to music and make calls with your phone and use the inter com on channel 2.
Disconnect headset fr om music / cell phone 1). Switch off the headset on channel 1 as described. 2). Switch off your cell phone / MP3 player . 3). As soon as you switch on the headset and the last connected device, the devices will automatically connected (last device sear ch).

Pr oblem: The voice over the micr ophone is too low . Please make sur e that the boom micr ophone is corr ectly placed close to your mouth. The white marking has to be in the dir ection of your mouth (BT2200/3200). In addition, the micr ophone sensitivity can be adjusted as r equir ed (page 24).
If this equipment does cause harmful interfer ence to radio or television r eception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to tr y to corr ect the interfer ence by one or mor e of the following measur es: -- Reorient or r elocate the r eceiving antenna.
