• Unattended cooking on a hob with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in fire. • Never try to extinguish a fire wi th water, but switch off the appli- ance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket. • Do not store items on the cooking surfaces.
• The electrical installation must have an iso la- tion device which lets you disconnect the ap- pliance from the mains at all poles. The isola- tion device must have a contact opening width of minimum 3 mm.
• Use only stable cookware with the correct shape and diameter larger than the dimen- sions of the burners. Ther e is a risk of over- heating and rupture of t he glass plate (if ap- plicable). • Make sure the flame does not go out when you quickly turn the knob from the maximum to the minimum position.
