6 Labels on tools Electrical safety This tool is double insulated ; therefore no earth wire is required. Always check t hat the power supply corresponds to th e voltage on the rating plate. If the supply cord is damaged, it must b e replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised Black & Decker Service Centre in order to avoid a hazard.
7 Sawing Hold the t ool firmly with b oth hands wh ile cutting. The shoe plate (5) should be hel d firmly against t he material being cut. This will help pr event the saw from jumping, reduce vibration and mi nimise b lade breakage. Let the blade run freely f or a few seconds before starting the cut.
