26 1 . W ater S yst em a) Cleaning Solution Dilute 9.6 . oz. (0.29 l) of Hoshizaki "Scale A wa y" with 1 .6 g al. (6.0 l) of war m w at er .
27 1 3) Af t er the gear mot or star ts, mo ve the contr ol s witch to the "DRAIN" position and allow the wat er sy st em to dr ain f or 5 minutes . Note: If you do not sanitiz e the unit, mo v e the contr ol s witch to the "ICE" position af ter the wat er sy st em drains .
28 c) Cleaning and Sanitizing Pr ocedure 1) Mov e the control s witch to the "OFF" position, then turn off the po wer supply . 2) Remo ve the fr ont and t op panels, then mo ve the po wer s witch to the "OFF" position. 3) Remo ve the st orage bin co ver .
29 B. Maintenance This icemaker m ust be maintained individuall y , ref erring to the instruction manual and labels pro vided with the icemaker . The schedule below is a guideline. More fr equent maintenance , howe ver , may be r equired depending on wat er qualit y , the icemaker's envir onment, and local sanitation regulations .
