8 C. Location C A UTION 1 . This icemaker is not int ended for outdoor use . Nor mal operating ambient temper atur e should be within 45°F t o 1 00°F (7°C to 38°C); Nor mal oper ating wat er temperatur e should be within 45°F to 90°F (7°C to 32°C).

If the icemak er is turned of f , w ait f or at least 3 minutes bef ore r estar ting the icemaker t o pre vent damage t o the compr essor .

15 III. Cleaning and Maintenance W ARNING CHOKING HAZARD: Ensure all components , fast eners, and thumbscr ews ar e securel y in place af t er any cleaning or maint enance is done to the unit. Make sure that none ha ve f allen into the st orage bin. A.
16 2. Cleaning Pr ocedur e 1) T ur n of f the power suppl y , then r emov e the front panel. Make sur e the po wer s witch is in the "ON" position, then mov e the control s witch to the "DRAIN" position. Replace the front panel in its corr ect position.
17 1 6) Af t er the gear mot or star ts , turn of f the pow er suppl y . R emov e the front panel, then mo v e the control s witch to the "DRAIN" position. Replace the fr ont panel in its correct position. 1 7) T ur n on the po wer suppl y and allow the wat er sy st em to dr ain f or 5 minutes .
18 1 2) Mov e the contr ol s witch to the "ICE" position, then mov e the power s witch to the "ON" position. R eplace the panels in their corr ect positions, then turn on the power suppl y . Make ice using the solution until the icemak er stops making ice .
19 B. Maintenance This icemaker m ust be maintained individuall y , ref erring to the instruction manual and labels pro vided with the icemaker . The schedule belo w is a guideline. More fr equent maintenance , howe ver , may be r equir ed depending on w at er quality , the icemaker's envir onment, and local sanitation regulations .

21 6) T ur n on the pow er suppl y , then mov e the power s witch to the "ON" position. Blow out the e v aporator dr ain line using the compressed air or carbon dio xide supply until w ater stops coming out. 7) Mov e the power s witch to the "OFF" position, then turn of f the pow er suppl y .
