5 Installation Clearances Cabinet openin g dimensions sh own are for 25" (64 cm) countertop dep th, 24" (61 cm) base cabinet depth and 36" (91 .4 cm) co untertop height. * NOTE : Recept acle must be rotated 90 ° for Canadian insta llatio n.
6 Electrical Requirements - Can ada Only If code s permi t and a s eparate gr ound wir e is use d, it is recommended that a qual ified elect rical in staller dete rmine that the ground path an d wire gauge are in accordance with lo cal codes.
7 Gas Supply Line ■ Provid e a gas supply line of ¾ " (1.9 cm) rig id pipe to the range locati on. A smaller size pipe on longer runs may result in insu fficient gas sup ply . Pipe -joint c ompound s that resist the action of LP gas must be used.
8 INSTALLA TION INSTRUCTIONS Unpack Range 1. Remove ship ping material s, tape an d protective film from range. Keep shi pping pall et under range. Remove oven racks, grates and parts package from inside oven. 2. Remove t he 2 scr ews on each side of the top of th e bottom vent.
9 4. Using the final measurement from Step 3, measu re fr om the floor up a nd mark a horizont al line on t he wall wh ere a wall stud is loca ted. 5. Position t op of anti-tip bracket at li ne marked in St ep 4 and mark hole s. Drill two ¹⁄₈ " holes at the p ositions marke d on th e wall.
10 3-Wire Cable f rom Power Supply IMPORT AN T : Use t he 3-wire cable from power suppl y where local codes permit connecti ng the frame-ground conduc tor to the neut ral (whi te) ju nction b ox wir e (not u sed for Ca nadia n instal lati ons). 1. Discon nect powe r .
11 Complete Connection 1. Open the manua l shutoff valve in t he gas supply line. The valve is open when th e handle is paralle l to the gas p ipe. 2. T est all con nections by brushing on an approved noncorrosive l eak-detection solut ion. If bubbles appe ar , a leak is in dicated.
12 If oven does n ot operat e: ■ Check th at power supply is t urn ed on. ■ Check that the range is plu gged in and t he circuit breaker has not t ripped or the hous ehold fus e has not blown. Repeat st art-up. If th e oven sti ll does not operat e at thi s point, contact yo ur dealer or authoriz ed service compan y for assist ance.
