3 ICE MAKER SAFETY INSTALLA TION INSTRUCTIO NS Unpacking Removin g packagin g materials Before using, r emove tape and glue fr om your ice maker . This includes the tape h olding t he door closed. R emove the acce ssory bag from the ice storage bin . The ice ma ker is cover ed with a p rot ectiv e film.
4 ■ Choose a well ventilat ed area with temperatures above 45 ° F (7 ° C) and bel ow 100 ° F (38 ° C). Best results are ob tained between 70 ° F (21 ° C) and 90 ° F (32 ° C). It is recommended that the unit be install ed in an area protected from the elemen ts, such as wind, rain, water s pray , or dr ip.

6 Norma l So unds Y our new ice maker may make sound s that are not familiar to you. Becaus e the soun ds are new to you, you might be concern ed about them. Most of the new sou nds are normal. Hard surfaces, such as the fl oor , w alls and cabinets , can make the sounds seem loude r than they ac tual ly are.
7 7. Remove the wa ter tank an d drain the wa ter . T o remove the tank, s pre ad the ta bs on bot h sides t o unlock and pull the tank to ward y ou. 8. Replace th e water tank . 9. Slowl y pour the dil uted cle aning solut ion int o the water ta nk. 10.
8 3. Remove the sl ope by bend ing it in t he center and releasi ng it fro m th e shaf ts. 4. Remove the wat er tank , and drain t he wa ter . 5. Remove the separators by lifting each sepa rator up and pushi ng back. 6. Lift off the ice chute from the rear and front frame s.
