5 Dishwasher Com ponents • This appliance must be grounded t o a metal, permanent wiring system, or an equipment gr ounding conductor must be run with the circuit conduct ors and connected to t he equipment gr ounding terminal or lead on the dishwasher .

11 Rinse Agent Dispenser Open the rinse agent dispenser by lifting the tab with your t humb as shown in Figur e 17. NO TE: The dishwasher indicates low rinse agent by sho wing the symbol in the countdown display . Add liquid rinse agent t o the dispenser as shown in Figure 18 until the rinse agent r eser voir is full.

13 Dishware Drying At the end of t he cycle the dishwasher will st op and a period of condensation dr ying will follo w . Af ter drying, the cycle is comple te and: • t he “Clean” light will illuminate (select models). • the completion signal will sound (select models).
14 Wiping Up Spills and Splash-out Wat er may occasionally splash out of your dishwasher , especially if you interrupt a cy cle or open the dishwasher door during a cycle. T o avoid oor damage and pos sible mold growth, do not allow w et areas to r emain around or under the dishw asher .
15 During normal use, the lter syst em is self-cleaning. Y ou should occasionally inspect it for for eign objects and clean it when necessar y . T o Remov e the Large Object T rap/Cylinder Filter Assembly: 1. Remo ve t he bott om r ac k. 2. Grasp the assembly as shown in F igure 28 and turn it counter - clockwise 1/4 turn.
1 6 Clean the Exterior Door Panel Colored Doors Use only a soft cloth that is lightly dampened with soap y water . Stainless S teel Doors Use a soft cloth with a non-abrasive cleaner (pr eferably a liquid spra y) made for cleaning stainless steel. For the best r esults, apply the stainless steel cleaner t o the cloth, then wipe the surface.
