1. T ake care of your tape cassette to pr eserve the quality of the recor dings. Do not allow them to be exposed to direct sunlight. Stor e them in a place protected fr om dirt and dust and avoid handing with greasy or oily hands. Also, keep the away from magnets, and motors of the permanent magnet type.
INST ALLA TION NOTES: Choose the mounting location where the unit will not interfer e with the normal driving function of the driver . Before finally installing the unit, connect the wiring temporarily and make sur e it is all connected up properly and the unit and the system work pr operly .
1. Install brackets and screws r emoved from your old radio (not pr ovided with this unit). 2. Slide unit and frame into dash opening. 3. T rim ring has precutgr ooves on the back of it. The size of the trim ring can be reduced (made smaller) for dif ferent types of installations.

12 BASIC OPERA TION 1. OPEN BUTTON Press it to flip down the fr ont panel then you can insert the T APE into the tape compartment. 2-3. VOL +/ VOL- & SEL BUTTON Press it to change audio mode thr ough volume, bass, treble, balance, and fader modes.
13 BASIC OPERA TION a. Continuously repeat at the curr ent chapter/track, when selected REP-ONE mode. b. Select REP-ALL mode to continuously repeat all chapter/track on the curr ent disc. c. REPEA T feature does not support VCD2.0 (with PBC ON). E. Pr ess 3/INT button to scan disc.

15 BASIC OPERA TION 24. FLASHING LED If the front panel is not on the main unit, LED will be flashing. 25. RESET BUTTON RESET button is placed on the housing and must be activated with either a ballpoint pen or thin metal object. The RESET button is to be activated for the following reasons: A.
