Setting the Unit <ENGLISH> Thank you for purchasing this PIONEER product. Before attempting operation, be sure to read this manual. In case of trouble When the unit does not operate properly , contact your dealer or the nearest autho- rized PIONEER Service Station.
Connecting the Power T erminal •A lw ays use the special red battery and ground wire ([RD-223] and [RD-222]), which are sold separately . Connect the battery wire directly to the car battery positiv e terminal (+) and the ground wire to the car body .
Connecting the Unit <ENGLISH> Connecting the Speaker Wires Connect the speaker leads and set MODE SELECT switch and PO WER MODE switch to suit the configuration according to the figures sho wn below and the next page. •W hen synchronously connecting two or more amplifiers in combination, only use these amplif iers.

Conexión del terminal de alimentación • Siempre utilice el cable de batería rojo especial y los cables de tierra ([RD-223] y [RD-222]), vendi- dos separadamente. Conecte el cable de batería directamente al terminal positiv o de la batería del v ehículo (+) y el cable de tierra a la carrocería del v ehículo.
