6 Sealed Su rface Burners IMPORT ANT : Do not obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilat ion air around the bur ner grate edge s. Burner cap: Always keep the bur ner cap in place w hen using a surface bu rner . A cl ean burne r cap will hel p avoid poor igniti on and uneven flames.
7 Cookw are IMPORT ANT : Do not l eave empty cookware on a hot su rface cooking area, element or surface burne r . Ideal cookware should have a fl at bottom, strai ght sides and a well-fittin g lid, and the material sh ould be of medium-to - heavy thick ness.

10 Language The Language i s factory preset to English but ca n be changed t o French. T o Change the Language to Fren ch: 1. Press SET TINGS 10 tim es unti l “LA NGUAG E” appe ars in t he upper text area, and “ENGLISH. P ress (^) for French” scrolls twice from right to lef t in the lower te xt area.
11 P ositioning Racks and Bakeware IMPORT ANT : T o av oid permanent d amage to the porcelain finish, do not place food or bakeware directly on the oven door or bottom. Racks ■ Position racks before tu r ning on the ov en. ■ Do not position r acks with ba keware on them .
12 Bakeware The bakeware mat erial affects cooking r es ults. Follow manufacturer’ s recommendati ons and use the bakew are size recommended in the recipe.
13 5. When the preheat c ycle is complete, insert food in oven. “Insert food for one rack baking” or “Insert food for mu l ti rack baking” will appear in the sel ected oven text a rea. “Bake” will scroll in the selected ov en text area u ntil CANCEL for the selec ted oven is press ed.
14 Convection Cooking - Lower Ove n Only (on some mo del s) During convecti on cooking, th e fan provides increased h ot air circulation throughout th e oven. The movement of heated air around th e food helps to speed up cooking by penetrating the cooler outer surfaces.
15 Convection Roasting (o n some models) 1. Press CONVECT th r ee times. “CONVECT ROAS T” will appear in th e lower text ar ea, and 350°F (175°C) wi ll be displaye d, followe d by “P ush ST ART .” 2. Press ST ART . “Set temp or” will scroll in the lower oven text area, followed by “Push ST ART .
16 T o Disable Sabbath Mode: 1. Open the lowe r oven door . 2. Press LOWER CANCEL. 3. Press and hold the T emp/Time “up” arrow pad for 5 second s. “Sabbath of f” appe ars in the upper te xt disp lay area.
17 RANGE CARE Self-C leaning Cycle (on some mo del s) IMPORT ANT : The health of some bi r ds is ex tremely sensiti ve to the fumes give n off during the Sel f-Cleaning cyc le. Expos ure to the fume s may result in death to certain birds. Alway s move birds to another clos ed and well-venti lated room.
18 T o Delay S tart Self-Clean: Before delay starti ng Self-Clean, make sure t he oven door is completel y closed or it will not lock and th e cycle will not begin. 1. Press ST ART TIME . “PRESS (^) FOR UPPER OV EN” will scrol l in the upper tex t are a, and “P RESS ( ) FOR LOWER OVE N” will scroll in the lower text area.
19 COOKTOP CONTROLS T o avoid damage to the cooktop controls, d o not use steel wool, abrasive cl eansers or oven clean er . T o avoid damage, do not soak knobs. When re moving or re placing knobs, make sure knob s are in the Off position. Do not remove seals un der knobs, if present.
20 4. Lift the oven door while holding b oth sides. Continue to push the oven door closed an d pull it away from the oven door frame. T o Replace: 1. Insert both hanger arms into the door . 2. Open the oven d oor . Y ou sh ould hear a “click” as th e door is set into place.
