4 ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS A void Electric Shock This appliance has a polarized plug with one blade wider t han the o ther. T o reduce the risk of electric shoc k , this plug is intended to fit into a polar ized outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit into t he outlet completely, r everse the plug.

OPERA TIN G Y OUR 3-IN-1 IMMERSION BLENDER Before t he Firs t Use 1. Place immersion blender on a dr y , level, stable sur face such as a counter top. 2. Remo ve all packing material and prepare par ts for cleaning. 3. Nev er immerse the main body in water .
TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL OPERA TION Blending W and Step 1: MAKE SURE BLENDER IS UNPLUGGED Step 2: ATT ACH MAIN BOD Y TO BLENDING WAND Be sure attachment is fully engaged to t he main body by r ot ating the attachment clockwise until t he units click tog ether.
Step 6: BEGIN BLENDIN G Inser t the blending wand into the mixing bowl until it touches the bo ttom. T urn t he V ariable Speed Dial to select t he desired blending speed. Press the P ower button to star t. NOTE: Blender should be under the sur face of t he food mixture before turning it on.
Step 3: PL A CE INGREDIENTS IN MIXIN G BOWL Choose a deep mixing bowl or container . Mixture will increase in v olume as air is incorporated by the whisk, so allow e xtra r oom in the mixing bowl. Step 4: INSERT THE POWER PLUG Choose a suitable electrical outlet by referring to Electrical Requirements on page 4 .
Chopper Step 1: MAKE SURE BLENDER IS UNPLUGGED Step 2: INSERT C HOPPER BL ADE Carefully insert t he chopper blade over the pin at the center of t he chopper bowl. Step 3: INSERT FOOD If chopping a large amount of ingredients, divide the food into smaller batches.

12 CLEANING AND C ARE Before Cleaning • Beforedisconnectingtheblendingwandorwhiskfr omt heelectrical outlet, consider dipping the end of t he attachments in a cont ainer of warm, w atered do wn mild detergent. Process under the soapy w ater to release food r esidue.
13 FREQUENTL Y ASKED QUESTIONS Ho w do I know which attac hment to use? Think about t he texture and consistency you are trying to ac hiev e. The chopper will cut food into small bits. The blending wand pur ees foods until they are smooth, and the whisk beats air into ingredients such as egg whites or cream.
