3 Section 1: Safety Rules • K eep water spray a wa y fr om electric wiring or fatal electric shock ma y result. Spra y contact with electrical wiring can r esult in electrocution.
4 Section 1: Safety Rules • DO NO T wear loose clothing, jewelry or anything that ma y be caught in the starter or other rotating parts. • Tie up long hair and remo ve je welry . Starter and other rotating parts can entangle hands, hair , clothing, or accessories.

6 KNO W Y OUR PRESSURE W ASHER Read this Operator’ s Manual and safety rules bef ore operating y our pr essure washer . Compare the illustrations with y our pr essure washer to familiarize y ourself with the locations of various contr ols and adjustments.
7 ASSEMBL Y IMPOR T ANT: Read entir e operator’ s manual before y ou attempt to assemble or operate your ne w pressur e washer . Remo ve Pr essur e W asher F r om Car ton • Remov e the high pressur e hose, handle, and parts box included with pressur e washer .
8 Attach Handle 1. Place handle assembly onto handle supports connected to main unit. Make sur e holes in handle align with holes on handle supports (Figure 2). NO TE: It ma y be necessar y to move the handle supports from side to side in or der to align the handle so it will slide ov er the handle supports.
9 Section 3: Assembly NO TE: Remove and discar d all pump shipping caps befor e attaching hoses. 2. Similarly , attach other end of high pressur e hose to the high pressur e outlet on pump . Pull down on collar of quick connect, slide onto pump and let go of collar .
10 HO W T O USE PRESSURE W ASHER If you ha ve any pr oblems operating y our pressur e washer , please call the pressur e washer helpline at 1-800-743-4115 . Pr essure W asher Location Pressur e W asher Clearance Place pressur e washer in a w ell ventilated ar ea, which will allow for r emoval of deadl y exhaust gas.
11 9. When starting engine , position yourself as r ecommended in Figure 9 and start engine according to instructions given in engine operator’ s manual. Also see operating instructions tag located on the pressur e washer . NO TE: Alwa ys k eep the thr ottle lev er in the “ Fast ” position when operating the pressur e washer .

Each spra y tip pr ovides a differ ent spra y pattern (Figur e 10).
13 5. Mak e sure gar den hose is connected to water inlet. Check that high pressur e hose is connected to spra y gun and pump; star t engine. 6. Apply detergent to a dry surface , star ting at lower portion of area to be washed and work upwar d, using long, even, overlapping str ok es.

15 4. Place o-ring into recess. Push o-ring snugly against in-line filter screen. 5. Assemble nozzle extension to spra y gun, as described earlier in this manual. Nozzle Maintenance A pulsing sensation felt while squeezing the spra y gun trigger ma y be caused by excessiv e pump pr essure.
16 PREP ARING THE UNIT FOR ST ORA GE W ater should not remain in the unit for long periods of time. Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and “freeze” pump action. If you do not plan to use the pressur e washer for mor e than 30 da ys, follow this pr ocedur e: 1.

21 Sección 1: Reglas de Seguridad • Mantenga la boquilla de rociado de 8 a 24 pulgadas de la superficie de limpieza. • Opere y almacene esta unidad sobr e una superficie estable. • El área de limpieza deberá tener inclinaciones y dr enajes adecuados para disminuir la posibilidad de caídas debido a superficies resbalosas.

25 MONT AJE IMPOR T ANTE: Lea totalmente el manual del operario antes que intente ensamblar u operar su la vador a alta presión. Remue va el La vador a Presión del Empaque 1. Remueva la manguera a alta pr esión y la caja con las piezas, incluidas con el la vador de presión.
26 Agregar Aceite al Motor y Gasolina • Coloque la lavadora a pr esión sobre una superficie niv elada. • Consulte el manual del operario del motor para añadir al motor el aceite y el combustible recomendado . 32 Mantenimiento de la Boquilla Si siente una sensación pulsante al momento de apr etar el gatillo de la pistola rociadora, puede que sea causada por la presión excesiva en la bomba. La causa principal de la presión excesiva en la bomba es cuando la boquilla se encuentra atascada o tapada con materiales extraños, tales como tierra, etc .
33 PREP ARANDO LA UNID AD P ARA SU ALMA CENAMIENT O El agua no debe permanecer en la unidad por un largo periodo de tiempo . Los sedimentos o minerales se pueden depositar en las piezas de la bomba y "congelar" la acción de la bomba.
