3 Section 1: Safety Rules • K eep water spray a wa y fr om electric wiring or fatal electric shock ma y result. Spra y contact with electrical wiring can r esult in electrocution.
4 Section 1: Safety Rules • DO NO T wear loose clothing, jewelry or anything that ma y be caught in the starter or other rotating parts. • Tie up long hair and remo ve je welry . Starter and other rotating parts can entangle hands, hair , clothing, or accessories.

6 F eatures and Controls 2 Section KNO W Y OUR PRESSURE W ASHER Read this Operator’ s Manual and safety rules bef ore operating y our pr essure washer . Compare the illustrations with y our pr essure washer to familiarize y ourself with the locations of various contr ols and adjustments.
7 ASSEMBL Y IMPOR T ANT: Read entir e operator’ s manual before y ou attempt to assemble or operate your ne w pressur e washer . Unpack the Pr essure W asher 1. Remov e ev er ything from carton except pressur e washer . 2. Open carton completely by cutting each corner from top to bottom.
8 Add Engine Oil and Fuel • Place pressur e washer on a lev el surface. • Refer to engine operator’ s manual and follow oil and fuel recommendations and instructions. NO TE: Check oil often during engine break–in. Refer to engine operator’ s manual for r ecommendations.
9 HO W T O USE PRESSURE W ASHER If you ha ve any pr oblems operating y our pressur e washer , please call the pressur e washer helpline at 1-800-743-4115 . Pr essure W asher Location Pressur e W asher Clearance Place pressur e washer in a w ell ventilated ar ea, which will allow for r emoval of deadl y exhaust gas.
10 9. When starting engine , position yourself as r ecommended in Figure 8 and start engine according to instructions given in engine operator’ s manual. Also see operating instructions tag located on the pressur e washer . NO TE: Alwa ys k eep the thr ottle lev er in the “ Fast ” position when operating the pressur e washer .
11 Ho w to Use Spra y Tips The nozzle extension quick–connect allows the use of sev eral differ ent spra y tips. Each spra y tip pr ovides a differ ent spra y pattern (Figur e 9). F ollo w these instructions to change spra y tips: 1. Engage trigger lock on spra y gun.
12 5. Mak e sure gar den hose is connected to water inlet. Check that high pressur e hose is connected to spra y gun and pump; star t engine. 6. Apply detergent to a dry surface , star ting at lower portion of area to be washed and work upwar d, using long, even, overlapping str ok es.

14 3. Place o-ring into recess. Push o-ring snugly against in-line filter screen. 4. Assemble nozzle extension to spra y gun, as described earlier in this manual. Nozzle Maintenance A pulsing sensation felt while squeezing the spra y gun trigger ma y be caused by excessiv e pump pr essure.
15 PUMP MAINTENANCE For longest lasting service , follow the instructions given in the check list (Figure 13). IMPOR T ANT: Use 0.55 liter (18.6 ounces) of CA T Pump 6107 multi-viscosity oil. Oil alternatives include Mobil DTE16, T exaco Rondo 1660-HD150, Amoco Rykon-68, Shell T ellus T -68, and Exxon Univis-68.
16 PREP ARING THE UNIT FOR ST ORA GE W ater should not remain in the unit for long periods of time. Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and “freeze” pump action. If you do not plan to use the pressur e washer for mor e than 30 da ys, follow this pr ocedur e: 1.
17 TR OUBLESHOO TING Pr oblem Cause Corr ection Pump has follo wing pr oblems: failure to pr oduce pr essure, erratic pressur e, chattering, loss of pressur e, low water v olume. 1. Low pr essure spra y tip installed. 2. W ater inlet is blocked. 3. Inadequate water supply .

21 Sección 1: Reglas de Seguridad • Mantenga la boquilla de rociado de 8 a 24 pulgadas de la superficie de limpieza. • Opere y almacene esta unidad sobr e una superficie estable. • El área de limpieza deberá tener inclinaciones y dr enajes adecuados para disminuir la posibilidad de caídas debido a superficies resbalosas.

25 MONT AJE IMPOR T ANTE: Lea totalmente el manual del operario antes que intente ensamblar u operar su la vador a alta presión. Desembale la La vadora a Pr esión 1. Saque todo el contenido de la caja de cartón, a excepción de la la vadora a presión.

27 CÓMO USAR SU LA V ADORA A PRESIÓN Si tiene problemas operando su máquina la vadora a presión, por fa vor llame a la línea de a yuda para máquinas lavadoras a presión al 1-800-743-4115 .

34 PREP ARANDO LA UNID AD P ARA SU ALMA CENAMIENT O El agua no debe permanecer en la unidad por un largo periodo de tiempo .
