g 37 4 Overview of the menu items Below is an overview of those menu items where you can change and save the machine parameters that ar e preset at the factory , and also start programs and call up information. Y ou will find detailed information on this in the fur- ther chapters of these operating instructions.
g 38 6.2 Filling with water Each time before switching on the cof- fee machine, check that there is water in the water tank, and refill if neces- sary . The coffee machine requires water for the automatic rinsing processes each time the machin e is switched on or off.

g 47 13.2 Setting the co ffee temp erat ure There ar e three temperatur e levels to choose from. The coffee temperature levels are defined as follows: « TEMPERA TURE LOW » « TEMPERA TURE MEDIUM » « TEMPERA TURE HIGH » The factory setting is « TEMPERA TURE HIGH ».

g 50 14 Cleaning and Care To ensur e consistent coffee quality and faultless operation, always keep your coffee machine clean. 14.1 Regular cleani ng 1 Caution! Before cleaning, switch off the coffee machine and allow it to cool down. 1 Note! Never put the coffee machine or separate parts of the coffee machine in the dishwasher .

g 55 The coffee runs out too quickly • The coffee is ground too coarsely . 0 Turn the knob for setting grinding tex- ture one click anticlockwise (see „Set- ting the grinding texture“, page 46). The coffee flows out of only one of the dispensers • The dispenser holes are blocked.
g 56 0 Remove the brewing unit and thor- oughly clean the inside of the appli- ance, as described in the section „Cleaning the brewing unit“, page 5 1.
